Dr. Downes-Grant currently is the Chief Operating Officer of Sagicor Financial Corporation. Her experience at Sagicor over the last fourteen years includes senior management positions in Treasury, Finance and Investments. Her directorships include Life of Jamaica Limited, Sagicor General Company Limited and Capital International Management Services Inc. (USA).

She previously served as Chairman of the Barbados Stock Exchange. Pat has a Masters Degree in Economics, an MBA in Finance and received her Doctorate from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom.
